• Role 1: Survey Programmer
  This role involves programming surveys from start to finish. That means taking logic, presentation and text from an already developed survey and turning it into a real time online interactive survey. This is done using a mixture of technology including HTML, JavaScript, PERL, and PHP. Each technology is used where it excels and the ideal candidate has mastered all of these skills.
• Role 2: Application Developer
  When not in survey programming mode our ideal developer would be helping us with general application development. Most applications are developed using PHP but that does not mean that's what we are locked into or limited to. We take a best tool for the job approach so sometimes there might be small components of the system we need to write in another language. Currently these other languages have been PERL, C++ and Java.

• Programming: PHP, JavaScript, PERL, HTML
• Databases: General SQL understanding, PostgreSQL, MySQL or other RDMS
• A "Real" Person: Someone who can understand complex survey concepts, programming concepts, and database concepts. A person who wants to grow and assist us while understanding that what you put in is what you get out. We don't want programming clones. We want real people.
